Biomass
High-quality biomass processing for maximum value creation
Zemmler screening machines with patented double trommel technology are ideal for the precise processing of biomass. Thanks to the quickly interchangeable wire screen linings, mesh sizes can be flexibly adapted to any source material.
In just one screening process, three clearly separated fractions are produced – one more than with conventional systems. This ensures higher efficiency, saves time, and reduces costs.
In the biomass sector, the focus is on optimizing combustion processes or composting. The intermediate fraction plays a central role as the target product. It represents the value-determining fraction, which is specifically extracted from the material flow. Coarse material is fed back into the crusher or shredder, while excessively fine components are reliably separated.
These fine components would either negatively affect combustion in the subsequent process or reduce the quality of the compost. Through clean separation, the overall material quality is significantly improved and the proportion of residual material is noticeably reduced.
