The Zemmler Story

2000

Founding of Zemmler

Heiko Zemmler founds Zemmler and starts with rental services as well as spare parts and used machine trading for Combi Screen and Svedala screening machines.

2001

Development of the MULTI SCREEN 2001 screening machine

In cooperation with the Danish manufacturer Ellegaard, a new screening machine is developed. Heiko Zemmler takes over distribution and service throughout Europe.

2007

Start of in-house production

2012-2014 Introduction of five machine types (MS 1600–MS 6700) as mobile and stationary variants

Ellegaard discontinues production. Zemmler establishes a production facility in Großräschen and brings production to Germany. The first in-house screening machine MS 2001 leaves the plant in 2008.

For its successful development and production, the company received the Brandenburg Future Award.

Expansion of the product portfolio

Through numerous new developments, the machine portfolio is continuously expanded. More than 5 machine types (MS 1600-6700) in various configurations in the performance class 30-180 m³.

15 Years of Zemmler

Zemmler celebrates 15 years with a strong dealer network in Germany and Europe, an extensive rental fleet, and used machine and spare parts service.

Relocation to Massen/Finsterwalde

As further expansion was no longer possible in Großräschen, the site was relocated to Massen.

After the opening of the new facility, the 250th machine leaves the plant.

Doppstadt Family Holding

Doppstadt Family Holding acquires company shares and joins as a partner, strengthening the company with experience and know-how—a foundation for further international growth.

Part of LIG GmbH

The Doppstadt Family Holding corporate group is restructured to become Langenberger Innovation Group (LIG). Zemmler henceforth belongs to LIG as a proprietary brand with a focus on recycling and metal, which consolidates its competencies under the guiding principle of resource conservation.
